I saw this movie and it was very disgusting at times and other times it was quite hilarious. I did think a great bit of the movie was shocking and appauling, but I did laugh so hard at certain times during the movie that it made up for itself. I do think the movie is genius. I do think that if you went in there with the mindset of wanting to get offended, nearly everyone could get offended by this movie. Some of the movie could have been left out and it would not have hurt the movie at all. I as a gay man with kids did not take my children to this movie because I did my homework (homowork Ha ha). I do read articles and ask other people who have seen it for their comments. I took my cousin who recently lost her husband and we laughed so hard I think that the laughter may have been some of her first in weeks. I wanted to see a hilarious adult oriented movie to get a good laugh and well Bruno delivered.

I laughed for the whole movie or most of it (the part that really amazed me was the "no-limit" parents who wanted to make their babies famous). It is totally hilarious. It shows so very well how silly human beings are: the politicians, the jews, the muslims, the christians, the rednecks, Whites and Blacks, all of us. I will see it again as laughing like that is sooooooo good. Thank you very very much Mr Cohen.
But I won't take any kids below legal age (18) to see it (one has to be over 12 to see it in France, not with me). At 12 they are not able to understand it all anyway.

It's a movie.
It's funny if you like it.
It's not if you don't.

Prejudice against Jews isn't really healthy or funny.

I'm sorry, but Jewish produced media today is utterly devoid of any inspiration whatsoever. Even productions not designed to be audience-shocking-shit-shows like Bruno (which was a new low I might add) have no life to them, no humanity, not a single spark of caring. Especially the comedy, from cartoons like those on Adult Swim, to TV shows like Arrested Development, the Office, Scrubs and all that stuff, they are beyond lacking. I mean I don't think anyone takes anything good from any jewish media anywhere anymore, ever. Most of the time I could care less if the main character got an axe in the head, cause there is no fucking connection. I only say this because art has not always been this way. You can in fact have your cake and eat it too. Inspiring, thoughtful, mind blowing, hilarious shit does exist, perhaps not altogether always, but what we get from Hollywood and all her ilk is pure un-inspired garbage and jewish propaganda at best.

I gotta say as an openly gay male in my thirties; I was kinda confused whether to go see the movie or not after all the opposing reviews I got from my friends (others liked it and some did not, I eventually decided to go see it and believe you me it was hilarious. I don't know what the fuss is all about because this is just entertainment n.b neither me or any of my friends are that camp!!!!!

I mean this with every disrespect. STFU bella. I completely agree with Denise in regards to the horror. When I was 13 I used to have nightmares about those things and you think it's just CGI. Tell that to an impressionable youth huddling under her covers in the night.

The movie is rated 18A for a reason. Seriously why do they even bother with ratings if people ignore them. I work in a movie theatre in Toronto, Canada. I saw out of the thousands of people filling up the huge auditoriums, one person walking out.

I was ushering on the opening night which had several 300 seat auditoriums sold out. A woman I had helped earlier asked me what I thought and i told her that the response seemed positive. She came looking for me after the movie to tell me how much she enjoyed it. She said "I'm Jewish and I thought it was funny. He makes fun of everyone so no one feels left out"

I eventually saw the movie with my gay friend who is somewhat flamboyant and opinionated, not as badly as Bruno but still. He was laughing even more than I was. When we got home, we spent like an hour reliving it and telling all our other friends of how brilliant it was.

I've seen the movie several times now and yes the first time it was funny. But I went the other times to actually pay attention to the things he was trying to show and if you ignore the parts with his penis out and the sex scene and you pay attention to what he's trying to show you. You realise that this man is brilliant. He draws comparisons to things you either didnt notice or just brushed over. And he is fast on his feet. He turned EVERY situation around from being awkward to hilarious. So STFU Sex is EVERYWHERE or havent you heard. Sex sells. Because they didnt show it in slow motion with blurry curtains, smoke and music it bothers you?
